About Us

Tabernacle strives to be a welcoming, inclusive faith community that nurtures members and uplifts neighbors as we grow closer to God and one another. We are proud members of the Reconciling Ministries Network, working for the full participation of all LGBTQ+ people throughout the life and leadership of the Church.

We are part of the Binghamton District in the Upper New York Conference of The United Methodist Church.

We are located at 83 Main Street, Binghamton, NY 13905. Reach us by calling 607-723-8983 or e-mailing tabernacleumcbinghamton@gmail.com.

The parking lot is behind the church. Enter and exit on Arthur Street. Be aware that one-way streets border our parking lot on both sides. BC Transit bus routes 35 and 16 stop right by the church building. There is also limited street parking. Need an elevator? One is accessible via the parking lot. Worship

We worship on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in person in our sanctuary or online. Worship for us is a time of music, prayer, fellowship, and a biblical message aimed at helping us find peace, purpose, and a place in today’s world. A team of talented musicians offer a wide variety of music. The order of worship is easy to follow and there is no dress code. Children are always welcome, and Sunday school is offered September through June.

We seek to embrace persons of any age, gender expression, race, ethnic background, sexual orientation, economic condition, physical or mental ability as full participants in a loving community of worship, fellowship, study, and outreach.
